The Chinese sturgeons have been living on the earth for 150 million years, but they are in danger due to human activities. In order to protect them, the Chinese Sturgeon Research Institute of China Three Gorges Corporation has continuously taken measures of artificial fertilization and release of them since the 1980s. 700 Chinese sturgeons were released into the Yangtze River on April 13. The reporters from the CIPG Digital Media Center, together with 350 volunteers went to witness the release of Chinese sturgeons!
