China’s Political Season Continues, Tea is Served

Hot water servers stand synced and ready for action at the second plenary session of the National People’s Congress NPC). The annual two meetings of the NPC and the CPPCC (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) are where many of the country’s biggest issues are addressed and decisions made, with topics ranging from pollution to the South China Sea to the lack of anti-Japanese TV shows at present (which would see to most China watchers something of a reach given the already steady diet of anti-Japanese war dramas that pervade Chinese TV screens.)
