“It is very important for us to learn from China’s technology and modernization. The good thing is that China is a willing partner in terms of sharing its resources with us,” said Fazeel Najeeb, Maldivian Ambassador to China. He stressed that every developing country should chart its own path to development, adopting the approach that best suits its national conditions.
