Clearly, it is time for rational thought in Washington before tensions in the Pacific and East Asia get out of hand.
China’s independence, and the efforts of other nations in the South to find their own independent ways, arduous as they are, ultimately are not compatible with Washington’s intensely ideological American-centric globalism.

There is confrontation between countries, but what matters more are interconnectivity, balance, integration and harmony.
The role of international laws and regulations needs to be given full rein to contain hegemony through justice and fairness, promote multi-polarization and drive global governance through extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefits.
That is not what America should stand for.
It is natural that, with the rapid growth of the economy, China wishes to strive to do more for protecting world peace and pushing for development.
China’s space ambitions will continue to grow in cooperation with other nations, and therefore it is high-time cooperation rather than rivalry is brought into the China-US space relationship.
We appreciate the international solidarity as expressed by the CPC, particularly its work in managing the COVID-19 crisis. Many countries have received vaccines from China, and its spirit of global cooperation is yielding results.
It is good to note that in times of great difficulty in China-US relations, the force for bilateral exchanges and cooperation has never been absent.
