It’s time to find new ways to understand each other better and to communicate more effectively, to address serious challenges facing today’s world.
Harrowed by the growing global challenges, what the world needs now is cooperation rather than confrontation. GDI is directing the global attention to what it should focus on. Fortunately, more and more countries are getting on board.
The GDI, in the spirit of prosper-thy-neighbor, presents a refreshing model that can help in building mutual trust, managing conflicts and bringing stability amid uncertain times.
At present, when forces contrary to multilateralism and the democratization of the international system seek to impede the advances made in China-LAC relations, it is always opportune to remember the achievements already made.
A successful GDI may give us a good opportunity to keep us all together. It may significantly contribute to retaining world peace, whilst we combine the well-being of the planet with that of ourselves.
The most pressing challenge in this global environment is for countries to remain open, prudent and to act in their own best interests, as opposed to fighting the hegemonic struggles of other countries.
The initiative is a prescription for the world as global security environment is highly uncertain and complicated due to climate change, the Covid-19 pandemic, and geopolitical conflicts, etc.
